RIP LIL CED "DEDICATION" "It's A Lil Thing" XOXO

It hasn't been a lil more than a month...since CLEVELAND's LIL CED was killed. So of course...the wound is still deep...not jus because CLEVELAND lost 1 of the hardest mixtape KING's, not jus cuz CLEVELAND lost the ORIGINAL CEO of TYS NERDSWAG ENT, not jus cuz CLEVELAND lost 1 of the youngest, hottest, most motivated ,talented artist. The wound is still deep because of the situation surrounding the untimely death...of 1 of the coolest cats you could ever meet. If you didn't respect Lil Ced's swagged out , celebrity type fashion (*yeah he stayed in the dopest fits), even if Lil Ced made you envious of his charming way with the ladies (yeah...he had all the chics), or mad at him for just being....that damn great...if anything you had to respect Lil Ced's grind and determination. He spent damn near every day thanking GOD, and right after that...pushing his music. Video after video he would crank em out, mixtape after mixtape...the next 1 better than the last....Lil Ced paved the way for young talent in Cleveland. He was the originator of the blueprint for self promo. You can say what you want....but Lil Ced...mos def pursued his dream of making music, and putting his team on.

When Lil Ced was takin from the city, from his family and his friends....and hell...even his fans...for some reason it seemed like the whole city was heartbroken. Not just because Lil Ced was a good dude, but because if your from CLEVELAND...you knew that he was a young, black, talented man...representing WOODWORTH...actually putting his all to make his dream come true. Even if you didn't know him...the tragic tale of his death...and is backstory...will make you tear up. Lil Ced taught us to make something out of your life, No matter where you are from. Lil Ced taught us that..no matter the hardships...grind til you can't grind anymore, and put it all towards your dream. Lil Ced taught us...that if you pursue your dream...if you are suddenly taken from this Earth...you will always leave behind a LEGACY. Lil Ced left behind a legacy, he left behind hella videos, and hits after hits.
People grieve in their own way, and 1 man can't weigh anothers man's grief... because you..are not that man...but this Lil Ced Dedication...made by WRECKEN MAN, STACKZ 9FRONT, and FRANK FLAIR the PRODUCER...was amazing! Just to hear Lil Ced saying some of his famous lines...it felt like he was really talking to you. Lil Ced sounds like he is right here...even tho he is up there. The production is insane, and you can tell...that a lot of love, and honesty was put into the dedication...and that huge wound...that seemed to never close...was mos def opened back up.Yet this time the wound didn't hurt so bad...this time with this dedication...it felt like the song opened up that fresh wound...and kinda filled it with honest love, and gratitude for Lil Ced. Lil Ced will always be missed, but... "It's a Lil Thing". XOXO

Okkkkk Soooo I must say... that I was impressed by the the much anticipated #BIFC3!!! I mean...ok...I kinda knew that some artists were gonna be featured on it. I mean CLEVELAND has some serious artists that ...kinda have the Cleveland music scene on lock. Yet as the songs crawled down the playlist...I found myself suddenly transported to real classic trap music. When I searched the name of the artist I found that 1 of the dopest tracks on the #BIFC3...was from  MICROWAVE RED Ft. RAY GRIZZEL "R.I.C.H". I really vibe out to this song cuz for 1, it's always dope to attach an artists promo, with a face and their music. I've seen MICROWAVE RED do major promo , just never had a chance to put it all together. It was trappingly refreshing *yeah I said it, headroll fingasnap...to hear "R.I.C.H" representing for CLEVELAND. Not to mention that J.P Did This 1, produced the track...making it all the way official!The video is dope! Kinda like a red light district, money, b*tchez, and hood representation through out it all. Okkkk Sooooo it's not a big secret...that I rep #2Dz!!!! I mean I try and show love to everyone...well people that are most deserving of it. Yet WRECKIN SquaDD #2Dz...has quickly made me a fan of their music. Well mabe not just their music....but just their whole "swag" (*yuk I just used that word...I apologize). I mean WRECKIN SquaDD #2Dz, has put in hella work, and in a short amount of time has cemented their brand and name all over Cleveland. Besides being featured on the popular BIFC#3...sponsorship from the infamous clothing line Another Enemy, and having the hottest song out "ONLY", it was only right that WRECKIN SQuadd #2Dz hit the road to SXSW in Austin ,Texas recently.

I know....I was thinking...*awwww holy hell...not another "behind the scenes" shaky video. I mean how many "on the way to SXSW" videos can 1 watch. Yet...WRECKIN SQuaDD #2Dz, really proved that everything they do...is gritty cuz it's real, and in some way , shape or form they show unity, strength, and that yes...they really are fu*king INSANE!!!!! Just from the start of the footage...a nice "sucka punch"....leaves you thinking...DAMNNNNNN!!!!.....and then you see...#2Dz , and you automatically think..."whelp...he gon learn" *Tropikana voice. From rehearsal inside a tiny living room, with family, friends, and crew surrounding them...you see WRECKIN SQuaDD #2Dz...actually preparing for their takeover in SXSW. Most young people think they can jus jump on a stage, shake sum dreads, yell in a mic...and call it a day. It's super real to see WRECKIN SquaDD #2Dz show people that are tryna "make it"...that even tho it looks like they are jus "fu*kin around"...they take this music seriously. I mean there they are on a late night...practicing...yup...practicing. I shouldn't even call it practice, I'll say...grinding...cuz that's what WRECKIN SQuaDD #2dz has been doing non-stop.

Okkkkkkk Soooooo all I can say is BIFC!!!!! Man it feels good to say that sh*t!!!!!! No really....I really am from CLEVELAND!!! If your not from CLEVELAND...*which would totally suck...well then...BIFC...means "BITCH IM FROM CLEVELAND". *Now...please don't get me caught up in the "politics" of how the phrase was birthed, who owns it...blah blah blah...cuz in the end...BIFC...means..."BITCH IM FROM CLEVELAND". Dj-EV really has outdone his previous astronomical accomplishments with BIFC #3! I must admit, when I heard that BIFC#3 was about to be dropped....I was thinking...*how in the hell is this gonna work? I mean CLEVELAND has sooo many dope artists, it's almost impossible to put them all together, or should I say get them together. Honestly at this point in time...the music scene is bout the hottest it's ever been! I mean...if you and I keep it real...we all know that with fame and success, comes big "egos", empty shots of "hey I'm tha hottest", or "I rep CLEVELAND tha most", or "oh...so you think you all dat now", or maybe even... "they wouldn't be sh*t if it wasn't for - - - - - -", or even "man that dude been fell off, he aint hot no more". Yeah....music can kinda be a big ass soap opera,but DJ EV managed to work his magic....and get the hottest, dopest, most respected artists from CLEVELAND on BIFC#3!!!!! BIFC#3 right out the gate is full of surprises, loaded...if not over loaded (*we all love extra sh*t) with hit after hit, and features that you didn't even see coming! Please save me the bullish*t bout how CLEVELAND has "the same artists on every mixtape"...blah blah blah.After hearing BIFC#3, it's not difficult to understand why these certain artists have been chosen to rep our city. 

BIFC#3 aint really a "beef" mixtape, it's not about labels, who's signed and who's not. BIFC#3 is a mixtape platform for CLEVELAND artists to show their growth, and my... have some of them grown into their own. DJ EV makes room for the younger artists that are making a name for themselves in CLEVELAND. That alone is refreshing! It shows that CLEVELAND music is evolving. I find alot of things incredible about DJ EV BIFC#3. Even though all of these CLEVELAND artists are busy , doin hella hot sh*t all across the country...when BIFC is about to drop...it's like all CLEVELAND artists wanna be featured! It's like a stamp of validation in CLEVELAND. People may be like "yooo why would such n such wanna be featured on a mixtape, when they already selling out show, areans, signed, bout to be signed, or already got mad dough". Only someone that isn't from CLEVELAND would ask such a ridiculous question like that one. No matter who you have become, or where you are going....to be able to still  rep your hometown of CLEVELAND, with respect and love from your friends, and fans...especially in 1 of the hardest cities to make it in or out of...is right up there with winning any award, or sold out show.

BIFC#3 has soooo many dope artists and songs, that we would sit here all day and try and "pick it apart", or do a full blown run down of exactly what BIFC is....like I said...*I'm just "sparkplugent"...and so...I invite you to listen to DJ EV's BIFC#3...with me....

BIFC#3 still left me with some unanswered questions. Like....who really started this...and does it really matter? I mean after listening ...I would hate to have to pick a "winner". It'd be almost impossible. BIFC#3 is 1... if the not the greatest collaboration of CLEVELAND artists. Despite all the egos, and twitter wars, labels, and gossip...BIFC#3 makes us realize...that CEVELAND has birthed some of the greatest hip hop artists in the game. Everyone has their own style, everyone has had their own struggles in this music game....and I think that's what brings the unity in BIFC#3. A. Haaaaaaaa most of the footage came from when the whole Lace Up took a party bus to Detroit for an event. It was the 1st time we had a big ass party bus so we were clowning.

A. Honestly....I saw him on twitter and I hit him up, back then he was shooting videos for tha low...like $50....but now...lololol....yeah he's probably taxin a lil bit more.

A. Ha! Mannnnn actually....I was! Growing up I had no choice but to go to church, my mama mos def made sure I went to church. I grew into like weird sounds, I was always kinda singing. My grandfather is actually part of a real life music group...called The Rance Allen Group....oh yeah...go on head in google em.

A.I wanted to jus showcase mysef and my talent. I mean yeah I could have had MGK all over it, or other people as well, but I really wanted people to know me, hear  me.....I mean of course Kells jumped on a track cuz that's my brother...but yeah I wanted ya'll to hear me. Show the world that I can stand on my own 2 feet, all attention on me lol, I wanted to expose myself.
