JOE BUDDEN GET's REAL...WHILE WEARING KHAKIS!!!

Okkkkkk Sooooooo I'm not really into the whole "gossip" thingy. Yet Sometimes I stumble across some real ass sh*t!!! I mean have you ever fallen victim to someone talking major crap about you...behind your back? Well...have you ever thought what you would say or do if and when you ever saw that person face to face. Soooo many times people talk extra tough when others are willing to listen, and sooooo many times the person who was being talked about...may often "fall back" or avoid confrontation. The only reason I decided to engage in this "situation" is because....there is a right way to do things and a wrong way....but Joe Budden managed to confront Consequence about a previous situation of words, face to face, man to man....and I found it very comical, yet very real how he handled the situation. There wasn't alot of screaming and yelling, or cussing. Joe Budden got his point across , and in my opinion he commanded the room, and he seemed like a "daddy" almost lol. This is how people should confront all bullsh*t. He did it in such a classy way...maybe it was his khakis!!! XOXO

I don't ever wanna be stereotyped as a person that only loves 1 kind of music. I'm pretty well rounded when it comes to music. Many times, the music I listen to or add to my playlist, is how I am feeling at that moment. In a world where "ratchet" music seems to be the music of choice, it's difficult for music with any kind of substance, or deep lyrical meaning to reach the people that have really struggled. When I first heard the song "SLUM" with Chief and JMe Jame, I was blown away. There were no references to fat asses, or stacks on deck, or bottle poppin. It was strictly about real life struggles, it's about where you are from, and who exactly you are. The video is dope as fugggggggg! Directed by Brett Vance from PURPLE FILMS...the video is....SLUM BEAUTIFUL. I was lucky enough to be invited to be a part of the video (don't blink or you will miss me ), it was cold and dark, yet the fire was built and burned beautiful in the slum part of the city we were in. Chief and JMe Jame tell a story of our city, and all the hardships in it. If you open your mind and listen, "SLUM" will hit your heart. With the chorus "I jus want it all want it all want it all, I jus wanna ball wanna ball wanna ball"...reminds me of soooo many people that I used to hear say the same things in these streets, and how many are dead, or locked up now. "SLUM" is a deep and beautiful lyrical connection to life in our city, or even your city no matter where you are from. The video is beautiful! CHECK OUT "SLUM"!!! XOXO

Okkkkkkk Soooooo I've recently became a SUPER FAN of WRECKIN SquaDD *2Dz!!! I say SUPER FAN...cuz I can't get enough!!!! It's been awhile since local CLEVELAND music has sounded gritty, contagious, and real. "BLOCKA" goes so hard!!!! "BLOCKA's" beat, chanting and complicated street metaphors makes it 1 of the most original songs of the year! With the jamaican vocals, and WRECKIN Squadd wit #2Dz shredding the track, I'm almost positive that "BLOCKA" will soon be not only a street but also a club anthem. "BLOCKA BLOCKA!!! XOXO

Okkkkkkk soooooooo like WTF!!!! I try not to get involved in anything that's "ratchet"....*hehehe innocent face. OK....I'ma quit frontin....I love all things RATCHET!!!! I'm pretty sure ya'll do too!!! I mean...I love when people get all the way live...that's if they really are bout that life. You can tell when someone is just "performing" for the camera, social status, or street credit. I've been around all types of people in my life...and all types of situations (I could write a whole book...yeah...*sighs). I've also heard hella songs talkin bout things...that are untrue. I mean people will make songs about having hella hoes, pistols, and all types of stuff, and yet..there are no visuals to piggy back on the songs. In an industry where sooooo many artists are simply telling "stories" about what they do, who they associate with, and what they have...the real "ratchet" has been somewhat watered down. *In no shape or form...am I saying that young people should go out, flash a strap, get high or just be down right ruthless. But....I am saying that...we live in a world of reality....and we all know people that do do these things, it's life. In a world where anyone can film a video...and the music be whack...its impressive...to see a group of young people...take where they are from, use all of their energy into executing their musical talents, and invite the world...into their world. WRECKIN SquaDD...*and yes...that's SQUADD..with 2d'z...so don't get it twisted, has managed to invoke their life, through their music. I wish I could say that it's just their music that makes them friggin awesome...but it's also the visuals they provide us with. WRECKIN SquaDD #2Dz video "ONLY"...is FAN-FU*KIN-TASTIC!!!!

"ONLY" directed by the infamous PURPLE FILMS (*bows head, and pays respect S/o to Brett) is insanely addictive! Between Lil Tone and Lil Jay, and their whole crew...not to mention dope as* lyrics, you can't help but watch..ova n ova again! "I only fu*k wit my niggaz"...automatically embeds itself in your head. This is mos def a song that would destroy a club!!! This song is straight to the point. Even if you aren't bout that life like WRECKIN SquaDD 2d'z, you can relate. Cuz how many times...have you said "mannn I only fu*k wit my nig*az"?When I first saw this video I was thinking..."yooooo these dudes are insane!!!" The shot of WRECKIN SquaDD 2d'z in the house...all of em with their shirts off, wild...jumping on the couch, looking heated...is 1 of the dopest shots in a video that I've seen locally. You can tell they ride deep, with quick flashes of pistols and total chaos on a front porch...you can't help but wish you had dreds yourself to shake. Like I said...*I don't indulge in commercialized violence, or anything like that...but in a world..where..in every city across the country...there is a group of young people, maybe even family members...living in a tough world...I do support raw, real talent...and that...is reality.
