WRECKIN SQUADD #2Dz "ONLY" OFFICIAL VIDEO DIRECTED BY PURPLE FILMS!!!!

Okkkkkkk soooooooo like WTF!!!! I try not to get involved in anything that's "ratchet"....*hehehe innocent face. OK....I'ma quit frontin....I love all things RATCHET!!!! I'm pretty sure ya'll do too!!! I mean...I love when people get all the way live...that's if they really are bout that life. You can tell when someone is just "performing" for the camera, social status, or street credit. I've been around all types of people in my life...and all types of situations (I could write a whole book...yeah...*sighs). I've also heard hella songs talkin bout things...that are untrue. I mean people will make songs about having hella hoespistols, and all types of stuff, and yet..there are no visuals to piggy back on the songs. In an industry where sooooo many artists are simply telling "stories" about what they do, who they associate with, and what they have...the real "ratchet" has been somewhat watered down. *In no shape or form...am I saying that young people should go out, flash a strap, get high or just be down right ruthless. But....I am saying that...we live in a world of reality....and we all know people that do do these things, it's life. In a world where anyone can film a video...and the music be whack...its impressive...to see a group of young people...take where they are from, use all of their energy into executing their musical talents, and invite the world...into their world. WRECKIN SquaDD...*and yes...that's SQUADD..with 2d'z...so don't get it twisted, has managed to invoke their life, through their music. I wish I could say that it's just their music that makes them friggin awesome...but it's also the visuals they provide us with. WRECKIN SquaDD #2Dz video "ONLY"...is FAN-FU*KIN-TASTIC!!!!

"ONLY" directed by the infamous PURPLE FILMS (*bows head, and pays respect S/o to Brett) is insanely addictive! Between Lil Tone and Lil Jay, and their whole crew...not to mention dope as* lyrics, you can't help but watch..ova n ova again! "I only fu*k wit my niggaz"...automatically embeds itself in your head. This is mos def a song that would destroy a club!!! This song is straight to the point. Even if you aren't bout that life like WRECKIN SquaDD 2d'z, you can relate. Cuz how many times...have you said "mannn I only fu*k wit my nig*az"?When I first saw this video I was thinking..."yooooo these dudes are insane!!!" The shot of WRECKIN SquaDD 2d'z in the house...all of em with their shirts off, wild...jumping on the couch, looking heated...is 1 of the dopest shots in a video that I've seen locally. You can tell they ride deep, with quick flashes of pistols and total chaos on a front porch...you can't help but wish you had dreds yourself to shake. Like I said...*I don't indulge in commercialized violence, or anything like that...but in a world..where..in every city across the country...there is a group of young people, maybe even family members...living in a tough world...I do support raw, real talent...and that...is reality. I too..."only fu*k wit my nigg*z"...but I also am now a fan of WRECKIN SquaDD #2d'z. Check out "ONLY" XOXO!!!

"YOGY" PRESENTS "KINGS WEAR CROWNS"

Okkkkkkk Soooo I always like to think of myself as a person that has been blessed with an open mind. I always pause...before I pass judgments on certain things, music, people, and situations. Yet there are times  when I get so caught up in "everyday stereotypical life", that I myself fall victim to labeling certain things, before I've actually had a chance to disect and respect them. I mean sheesh...even tho I am pretty damn cool *headroll finga snap...I am not perfect...I can admit it. Sooooo when I was passed some new music...."Kings Wear Crowns" to be exact...I kinda sat at my macbook...staring...with my face sitting in my hand....staring at the picture....on the "Kings Wear Crowns" mixtape.
I quickly glanced and said to myself "*yawn...another guy...rapping"...I sipped my starbux...and stared a lil longer...pondering wether I should download or not. I decided to click on the picture again...I blinked a couple times...noticing 1st that this guy named YOGY...was very well groomed, fly as fu*k even...and the flick of him looked worthy enough of a download...automatically attracted to the title "Mackin & Hanging", I sunk into an addictive state of musical bliss. "Mackin &Hanging" was the 1st and mos def not the last song, that YOGY impressed me with, and made me a true fan of his musical talent. I did a quick google check...cuz..I'm good for googling someone once I become interested. *You should to, don't get caught getting catfished*. Learing that YOGY was reppin the BAY AREA, only confirmed my earlier thoughts of his music....colorful storytelling, a lil down south, trap with Ny...maybe Nj, westcoast kinda feel. I became musically aroused...and decided to get to know YOGY!!!!

Q.1st of all.....where exactly are you from?
A. Bay Area, born and raised

Q.How would you describe the Bay Area sound?
A. The Bay Area is very diverse, it's colorful, and really has every type of sound imaginable.

Q.How did you get the name YOGY. That sounds like a name for a big bear, but you're not very bear like?
A. HA! Wellllll actually I was into YOLO before YOLO was YOLO and got played out, but I decided to go wit YOGY..."YOU ONLY GOT YOURSELF".

Q.What were you doing before music?
A.Mannnnn I used to be real athletic. I was a corner back in football, I still do a lil amateur  boxing, I also used to into martial arts.

Q. What college did you go to?
A.San Jose State

Q.Wait...so you do karate too!!!! What's the last color belt you received?
A.Orange

Q. You seem competitive, would you ever BATTLE RAP?
A.Naw...hahahah...I get to personal...I mean I'm athletic so I might end up fighting...I can't help it...I'd wanna start throwing blows...

Q.If you were offered 2 million bucks who would you battle?
A. JESUS...hahahah yeah me and JESUS could get it in lol

Q.Do you have any plans for SXSW?
A. Yeah my team is actually trying to get me booked out there!

Q.Who are you as an artist affiliated with?
A.Brick Squad Monopoly

Q. How did you get started doing music?
A.Welll my mom used to be into music real heavy back in the day. She used to sing backup vocals in songs, she was always into music, but I started writing raps in college...

Q. Would you let your mama sing back up in your songs?
https://soundcloud.com/yogymusic/yogy-power-kings-wear-crowns …
A. HA! Nawwwwww no way...I mean I love my mom, we cool...but not cool like that...

Q.How did you get your music discovered?
A. You gon trip...but I was actually discovered thru myspace! Back when Myspace was poppin, I had a song called "Dreads n Paper"...ya know back when the Hyphie movement was strong in the bay, it got a good response, people loved it, and that got me a following, and caught the eye of some independent companies...I was 1 of Myspace featured artists lololol...

Q. Do you still your myspace account?
A. Yeah but I aint logged on in forever lol

Q.How do you feel about Twitter?
A. Mannnn twitter is great for networking...its fast...but twitter can sometimes make certain people feel more famous than what they really are lol

Q. How did you come up with the title "Kings Wear Crowns"?
A. We as African Americans are born Kings and Queens...being able to be a MAN, it's a reminder that we can be Kings...sometimes we as a people forget that.

Q.The video for "Mackin &Hanging" was pretty dope, how did you come up with the concept for the video?
A. Thanks! Yeah I wanted the beginning of the video to be kinda deep, like a story, I wanted you to feel like you may already know how the video will end, or how the song will sound., but then it kinda tricks you...the music starts deep, but has a trappy feel to it.

Q. Are you really into community support?
A. Yes! In the video for "Mackin & Hangin"...that was like the Black Panther social group being represented. I belive in activists and unity in the community.

Q. I know you have some legendary artists that support you, what was it like working with FREEWAY?
A. Mannnnnn....unreal! I mean I've always been a fan, but ya kno to be making music with FREEWAY..unreal...

Q. How did you manage to work with FREEWAY?
A. It was like a matter of someone knowing someone, good situation, timing, mutual friends...all happened at once.

Q.I heard you say in 1 of your lines say "I'm Built To Last"...how are you built to last?
A.I mean...I've overcome a lot of things, I think that most of us as humans have...my mom was an alcoholic among other things, I'm not gonna get deep into, my father was in jail...locked up, I spent a lot of time alone when I was younger.....

Q.In the video "Round of Applause"...you were on the fattest stage ever...where was that video shot...the APOLLO?
A. Hahahahahah nawwww...I can't tell you all my secrets..but..it was actually a high school, a stage in a high school.

Q. You seem like your sound is a mix of all genres of music, what artists influence your musical taste?
A.When I was 1st introduced to Tupac, I was a fan! It was all over...and that's crazy...cuz even though I'm a Tupac fan...Jay-Z "Dynasty" album was the 1st album I actually saved up my money to buy, but yeah Jay-Z, NAS, Bun B, and Kanye...I fuck with Kanye cuz he's artistic...and I 'm a big Bone Thugs N Harmony fan..they changed music for real.

Q.You seem like a confident, kinda trapped out yet clean cut guy...do you ever get trashed?
A. Depending on the situation, I mean not trashed lol..but yeah...it's ok to celebrate

Q.What's you defintion of "Ratchet"?
A. No class....NO HOME TRAINING..yup

Q. What's your defintion of "LOVE"?
A. Sacrifice, a helping hand, always care for..no matter what, never judge...like the love of GOD.

Q.Whats your defintion of "Classy"?
A.Someone...I think classy is more a word to describe a woman...but..a woman who knows how to hold her own, knows how to carry herself

Q.What 3 words will describe yourself?
A. Motivated, ambitious, and hungry

Q.What was you reaction when you found out how big your fan base is in the UK?
A.Man...from me being from a small town, to knowing that people alllllll the way in another country are rockin with me and my music...people that have no connection to me, that have never met me or actually seen me in person...just to know people from another country enjoy my music is incredible...really crazy!!!!

Q.Now that you have a foot planted in this industry...is this industry what you thought it would be?
A. NOOOO!!! I never knew what it actually took to break a record. It takes alot of endz as well....people don't really know that....you gotta have your money right, I never knew it takes what it takes. This is a serious business...it's not a talent show anymore...you can have all the talent in the world, but you gotta have the business side down too.

Q. If you were drinking in the club, what would you be drinking? Better yet if a gril wanted to buy you a drink...what would you request?
A. A Mai-Tai...yeah me i  crew be drinkin those...cept they are in gallons...walking around wit it hahahah...you probably couldn't handle mai-tai's hahahah

Q. Speaking of crews, who's in your crew?
A. Well "CLASS"...that's my homie we grew up together, we have been cool since forever. I gotta up artist by the name of "KATA BOY" ....yeah...

Q.I noticed  you like big cars...you have em in your videos...if you could have any car you want right now what would it be?
A. Mannnnn mos def that porsche Panamera...I know GAME already got 1...but...yeah i'd go head and cop that Panamera.

Q. You plan on doing any shows...in the midwest?
A. Yeah....I'm making my way....I'm interested in Big Heff Industry tour, and yeah....I wanna hit NY...S/o to Big Heff!

Q.Have you done any shows down south?
A. I did a show in North Carolina! It was crazy!!!!

Q.Thats cool, was it weird cuz southern music...is a lil different from Bay Area music?
A. Yeah...but my music...has a lil trap in it...its a music gumbo...so we rocked out!

YOGY had me smiling ....I mean...it was refreshing to talk to a guy that doesn't seem to any other hidden motives...for wanting to make music...besides the fact...that he genuinely loves making music.YOGY...isnt' out here tryna front like he's bigger than what he is. YOGY's music speaks for itself. In a generation where artists get lost in "stereotypical" lines, and you find yourself listening to a song that has no story to tell...YOGY is pushing fast to the top of respected talent. If you listen hard...YOGY...delivers descriptive lyrics, and pulsating beats...when he delivers his message... "KINGS WEAR CROWNS"!!! XOXO

EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEW!!!! DAWN RICHARD PRESENTS "GOLDENHEART" XOXO

Have you ever wondered....what you would say to someone...if you had a chance to interview them, or ran into them on the street, or bumped into them while cashing in tickets at Dave N Busters, or maybe even see them while catching the same flight, or possibly a nightclub while taking flicks at the picture booth, hell...or even waiting inside the Marathon on 55th for a corned beef sandwich.....hey...it could happen. Let's just say...you ran into a celebrity..and you had a chance to get to the bottom of a few things.Well....I had an amazing opportunity to speak with DAWN RICHARD...YES!!!!!...the DAWN RICHARD...formerly from BAD BOY's DANITY KANE (*Diddy always breaks my heart with breakups)....and the eclectic, awesomely creative, and futuristic DIRTY MONEY!!!! YUP!!!! That DAWN RICHARD!!!!
I can't front...I was a lil nervous when she called me and I saw her number pop up in my phone. I mean...I admit...I used to be yelling at my television watchin Making The Band 3...like "ughhhh really DAWN, you jus gon let em act crazy around you like dat"....or "It sure seems like Dawn is serious as fugggggg...why won't she lighten up". I've even been guilty of thinking "is she jus tryna play it safe and not rock tha boat so Diddy can think she's better than everyone else"...yup...I said and thought all of these things...sho did *headroll fingasnap. I was hoping that DAWN RICHARD would be honest , open, hopefully candid...and real...during our interview...and guess what...soon as I picked up the phone DAWN RICHARD...broke through like "Heyyyyyyy Wat's up!!!". Automatically I could tell...she was down for whatever, she sounded confident, ready, and open to share her story...so with that we got started...

Q. Sooooooo there is sooooo much I wanna talk to you about...is it cool if I get some answers...to some questions I've wondered about so long?
A. Hell Yeah girl!!!!! I'm down for whatever...you can ask me anything....I'm open to whatever you got

Q.AWESOME!!!! (*me smiling like an insane fan on the other end of the phone) How have you been, are you ready for Christmas?
A. I've been great...actually fantastic! And yes I love Christmas so I'm ready..well almost.

Q. You seem real outspoken....yet on MAKNG THE BAND you seemed...kinda quiet, almost to quiet...was that "quiet good girl persona"...all just an act for tv and DIDDY?
A. HA! Girlllll...after the show aired...people had some kinda wrong impression of me. I mean after I looked back I could kinda see how people may have misjudged me.

Q. Soooo are you saying your not that "serious"all the time?
A. NAW!!! I'm not saying that....I'm jus about my business...do you understand? I mean when I made MAKING THE BAND...I felt like...I wasn't sure if I would ever get another chance like that to make my dream come true. I mean an opportunity like that doesn't come around much. So when I made the cut...I was new coming into the situation...you gotta understand...Drea, and Aubrey had already been through it...I was the new comer. So it wasn't a game to me..

Q. What do you mean when you say...MAKING THE BAND...wasn't a game?
A. I mean...I wasn't used to all the cameras, and all that, I had never been in a situation like that. For the other girls that had already been through it...they kinda knew how to "portray" themselves on camera...ya kno...as far as making sure their makeup was on right, hair, emotions etc. But I was being me...maybe that's why I looked and acted so "serious"...it wasn't a game to me....it was a competition...I wasn't really there to make a new bestie or whatever...I was there to Make the Band.

Q. People kinda thought you didn't really get involved in the "drama"...because you already knew DIDDY was kinda planning something bigger for you by yourself...is that true?
A. Hell no! I mean...me and DIDDY have always kinda creatively clicked. But as far as Danity Kane...at that finale...I was shocked when he said that he wanted work with me...even tho Danity Kane was over...I was like WHOA!!!

Q. Yeah,,,honestly...when I watched it...the expression on your face was like ...TOTAL SHOCK!You really had no idea?
A. Nope. I was thinking...it's all over....but then DIDDY...I dunno...it was crazy!

Q. What were doing before Making the Band?
A. Alot people don't know...but I've always been a singer...that's my passion. I love to sing and dance. I was actually a dancer for the New Orleans Hornets for 3 years. I'm from New Orleans!

Q.WHAT!!!!Are you serious??
A. Yeah...my mom had a dance studio back in New Orleans...I grew up with music.

Q. Did your mom ever get a new studio? I remember when Hurricane Katrina destroyed it...that was sad.
A. Yeah...well...it hasn't been rebuilt...but I'm in the process of getting her a new studio...so it should be pretty awesome!

Q. Is DIDDY easy to talk to, is he easy to come to when you have ideas or creative suggestions? He seems kinda...intimidating...?
A. HAHAHAHAH girllll.....he is cool....he's not really like how he acts on tv...I mean don't get me wrong...he's mos def bout his business...but...the shades he wears...and all that...that's for tv lol...n yes...Me n Puff have made hit songs together. I mean...I write alot of songs, I wrote alot of songs for Dirty Money.

Q. Soooooo your like an original songwriter?
A. Yes!!! that's kinda how Dirty Money got together....

Q.Dirty Money.....what exactly is Dirty Money?
A. Dirty Money ...was an idea that DIDDY had been kinda tossin around for actually a few years. He wanted a group...with 2 girls and a guy. I had been writing songs and he liked a few songs I wrote...I had already known how dope of a songwriter Kaleena Harper was...I mean she is cold ...1 of the coldest songwriters.

Q. So DIDDY jus decided to make a mini band?
A. I wouldn't call it a "band"...I mean...DIDDY thinks ahead of the times almost always...he wanted a group....that wasn't about illegal activity, or any of that...more or less he wanted to tell love stories...in a futuristic kinda way...a futuritic sound, a way to express love.....

Q. What's it like walking through Bad Boy, do all the labelmates walk bye and say hi to everyone?
A. HA! Kinda...I mean you see alot of faces...but Cheri Dennis is 1 of my close friends, and CASSIE...yeah CASSIE...now that's my bitch...she's my girl mos def!!!

Q. LAST TRAIN TO PARIS...was awesome!!!! WHAT was PARIS like the 1st time you went?
A. OMGGGGG!!!!! I've always been in love with PARIS. I mean...my parents and I grew up speaking Creole, I speak alot of french...and when I 1st landed in Paris...it was exactly like I had seen in pictures, movies and everything!!! Mos def 1 of my favorite places!!!

Q. Over the years...you style has seemed to transition from cool....to super high fashion. Have you always been into high fashion?
A. YES!!!! I've always been into fashion, but you have to realize....when I was on Making the Band...I was with other females....and I'm a dark skin girl...with ass, and kinda built up ya know...so when the stylists would come in with a rack of clothes ...all the girls would grab what they wanted...fast as hell...and I'd usually be the 1....with the last of the pickings....I mean with Dirty Money...it was cooler cuz it was just me and 1 other girl...so I was able to get all the good stuff lol

Q. Now that you are independent...what labels if any...catch your eye?
A. Honestly...I'm not really looking...I'm in control of what I'm doing right now....

Q.Are you involved with any charities?
A. YES!!! I'm involved with Music Cares, and Habitat for Humanity. After Hurricane Katrina destroyed my city...I realized how important it is for charities like Habit for Humanity to exist.

Q.What was 1 of your most memorable moments performing with Dirty Money?
A. AMERICAN IDOL (*if y'all missed it it was AMAZING *headroll fingasnap), I mean we went out there is gave it our all. The audience went insane...American Idol had never had all of that much chocolate all at once lol....we felt really good bout that performance, we looked good, our fits were on point and we put it down!

Q. What artists are you currently enjoying at the moment?
A. R n B is really taking over right now in the industry. Frank Ocean, Miguel...they r dope. I listen to alot of Prince, Michael Jackson, Phil Collins, and Jimi Hendrix...I love all types of music.

Q.How have you managed to stay under the radar...as far as not being caught up in any scandals, or fuckery on TMZ?
A. Lol.....I mean...it's easy for me...I do me, I'm not out here tryna be all extra. Most people actually put themselves out there...they do it on purpose.

Q. Wait a second!!! Are you saying that some celebrities actually do crazy stuff on purpose just to attention?
A. Hell yeah...they call paparazzi on themselves, or have people tell other people where they are going to be. They literally pay for attention...

Q. In an industry fueled by men...and you working with some of the hottest men...how do you uphold your clean reputation?
A. I mean...it aint hard...we are all grown...I'm mos def grown, if it's a guy im interested in..then I will say "wat's up"...but i'm not fuckin with this person and that person....I don't need to....don't get me wrong..."I love hoes too, hoes are great"...lolololol..."gotta love the hoes" lol (*she laughs..sarcastically kinda)

Q.So are you saying the world needs hoes?
A. Lol...alot of females...have hoe in em..lol...let me make this clear...I'ma hoe for 1 person, and 1 person only....my MAN.....my man only...lol

Q. Your new music...sounds like  dance R & B kinda...is that what you were going for?
A. I wouldn't call my music "dance"....I'm not really a fan of the word "dance"...to describe my sound....I mean I love to dance...but I like to think of it more as a tribal kinda sound...more of a "movement". We are ancestors of tribal people...the music has beats that make you move...I guess dance can be used...but it's more of a tribal feel......body movement!

Q. What's the name of your new album?
A.I'm very blessed....to be putting out GOLDENHEART...it's actually part of a trilogy that I working on. It's about Love, and all things in it...its beautiful.

Q. How many songs are on the album?
A. 16!

Q. How would you describe GOLDENHEART?
A. A musical journey....yeah...like a new wave of music...from the heart.

Q. How is it different...putting out music..your music...being an independent artist?
A. It's kinda cool...cuz like I said...I have full creative control, I get to style myself...I mean if I want to hire a stylist I can...but I have say so over everything...I get to fully express myself thru my music, and fashion!!!

Q. What are your expectations for your new music?
A. I just hope everyone loves what I'm doing, I love my fans, and I just really want people to feel my music. I am very proud of the work I've put into this new album!!!

STREET SMART PRODUCTIONS PRESENT.....

Wonder where all the "cool" people are gonna be this weekend...well duhhhhhh at CLUB EARTH!!!! XOXO

MUSIC YEAR REVIEW 2012!!!!!!!!!

Ray Cash "BY MYSELF"
Welp! Just...like...that...2012 is officially over!!!! Even tho....2012 is over, and we can never bring it back...*unless its of course the fashion, but you usually have to wait about 10 years before you can repeat a fashion trend*...we will always have the memories *sigh. Ahhhhhhh the memories! Certain memories seemed to be long lasting, while others quickly fizzled away...kinda like when you have a dream...and it melts like a snowflake. If you think you may have missed something in 2012...especially something within the creative bubble surrounding CLEVELAND....well...don't worry...let's reflect, and catch up .

BONE THUGS N HARMONY

Okkkkk soooooo...the NERVE DJ''s CONFERENCE in November was friggin awesome! It was amazing to see soooo many artists...new and old to the industry turn out to soak up, give, or speak on the music industry and the knowledge behind it....not to mention...just when everyone thought they were starving...*BOOM*...the was a fat as* spread of cold cut sandwiches, and even hotdogs...yeah...it got real. BIG HEFF locked himself in the lab with some of Cleveland's hottest artists and didn't come out til he had the summer anthem "TURN UP"...speaking of "TURN UP"...*ok ok I won't use that term again in 2013*...that seemed to be the most overused lingo of 2012..."TURN UP"...it got to the point we heard "TURN UP", n baby delivery rooms, funerals, at the library, election time, and even lil kids being put down for naps would say "TURN UP"...blame it on BIG HEFF. Young Shank dropped his mixtape DANNY GREENE...he managed to demand that these dudes out here "stop cuffing" and.."LET EM PLAY".
2012 Model Of the Yeay JUICEY ADOIR
Dj STEPH FLOSS delivered HOT IN CLEVELAND 2...with much anticipation...and controversy...yet in the end...all the scorned artists that did not make the roster...quietly sucked it up and I'm almost positive those same people will be blowing down on FLOSS to be on the next mixtape. STREET SMART PRODUCTIONS put event promo on a whole bigger level. Strippers seemed to finally get the respect they deserve in 2012. With cameos in videos, and with a lil classy help from DJ RYAN WOLF from LEGIT PAPER...dancers were shown in a classy, sexy artistic way...in the SH8K videos...which were so hot...girls questioned their sexuality. LEGIT PAPER seemed to be reborn again in 2012...with few to no mentions of Dej Jam any longer...LEGIT PAPER got back on the grind, and RAY JR. dropped "IM WORKIN"...which is a friggin genius ass banger...all off a ringtone for the IPHONE. Alisha Lange upped her resume...as if it wasn't long to begin with...by directing and producing music videos for Caine , Bella Nae and others. PHANTASY nightclub hosted hella shows and events....the lil pirate theme never gets old. Was it just me....or did it seem like KPT and DRAFT PICK...literally toured the whole state of OHIO...and then some....I mean...sheesh....can you say "impressive".
Dj Swerve
DJ SWERVE threw 1 of the dopest shows at ROC BAR (rip). HYDE PARKS dropped the best album this year "FIRST THINGS FIRST". Clockworkmuzik  did what they do best...crank out hits, by giving the best quality production and engineering possible. BELLA NAE...proved that she's not just pretty as fugggggg to look at but she can sing, dance...and even spit heavy bars!!!!!! MGK finally released "LACE UP", and Cleveland had never been more proud!!!!!! LACE UP...was a common term heard from people...especially when drunk and talking mess..."LACE THA FU*K UP"...gotta love it! We were introduced to video director MIKE CLUM...who shot videos for hella artist including Ray Cash,  Ray JR., and Papa Flow. The "BY MYSELF" video was by the far the most futuristic video of the year 2012 outta CLEVELAND. Wait...RAY CASH...well...RAY CASH closed out the year with his single , I think that was jus an appetizer or something but don't call it comeback jus yet...the whole city was in an uproar when he dropped the new music.. Does Ray Cash have to be so damn cool....speaking of "cool"...TROPIKANA kept her cool at the GUCCI GOTTI
"CONCERT"...let's nots forget the city was extra pumped bout such a big event...then in typical CLEVELAND FUCKERY fashion...the show was cut short...and the crowd ended up looking like lost, confused, and misguided fans....yet TROPIKANA...attempted to hold the crowd over....til...DJ ICE...shut it down...with his uncle like attitude saying "IT"S OVA...GUCCI AINT COMING".....*I still laugh thinking about that. Not all concerts were a waste of 'TURN UP" *damn...I said it again. The BONE THUGS N HARMONY concert...was FRIGGIN AWESOME!!!!!!! And yes...all of the original members of Bone were there...and so were all of their groupies...yes the same groupies from the early 90's, just older...and yes it was crazy!!!!! But....it was probably the coolest event of the year in CLEVELAND! PURPLE FILMS delivered quality, and cemented themselves as the KINGS of videos for 2012.S/O to BRETT! CLUB EARTH was mos def the best damn club of 2012....with the combination of ratchet, fun, and even classy at times....EARTH...is AWESOME!!!!! Sure there were fights, and sure I witnessed a girl break a table...but the bathrooms were remodeled and the staff is always friendly. The damn freeways were all messed up in CLEVELAND in 2012...and on top of that
CHIP THA RIPPER...tried to make us call him KING CHIP...and with some resistance ...eventually  fans agreed...that CHIP THA RIPPER...is deserving of the name KING CHIP. KING CHIP even made fistfuls of rings...the new cool sh*t! KING CHIP did all of this...from CALI. Even though OWEY isn't from Cleveland...he dropped hella videos back to back, and made his music visible...building his fanbase throughtout the city. BIG HEFF was all over the midwest...and in club EARTH! Man oh Man....the Ohio Hip Hop Awards were insane in 2012!!!!. Everyone turned out in Columbus for the annual event. Youngshank turned heads when he walked in...with his headphones on, BLOODSHOT...made heads turn...with their performance...they sang, danced and attempted to show the industry something new. We learned from Dj Steph Floss...."Dj's make the party".*headroll fingasnap TROPIKANA ended 2012 with her own radio show!!!!! Jam Skillet took a chance on being unique..and it worked!

Everyone seemed to suddenly be into sushi in 2012. Some people tried to blame their sweaty face on "molly"...but we know...they are always sweaty anyways. LEGENDARY Steve Lobel...made artists put on their best...in an attempt to impress him while he was in OHIO. CUDI and KING CHIP released "Just What I Am"...and yes...its dope! Last I heard in 2012...CAINE is petting koalas in AUSTRALIA...friggin AUSTRALIA!!!! See where music can take you!!! Artists seemed to take more pride in the quality of music they were pushing out for 2012. Guys seemed to embrace the "Kid N Play" box hightop haircuts, and tho not many..they were several young men...running aroung with blonde streaks...hey..I can dig it. The females went all TWILIGHT on us and embraced those lose "claw like nails"...yikes! Some artists attempted to make a #wave...but spent almost the whole year being unsuccessful.....hopefully things will be brighter for 2013. With the Big Heff radio show starting in JANUARY 2013, and new music, fashion, and...name changes happening all the time...2013 should be an awesome year!!  Now...I will leave you with the sincere , spiritual words from the 2012 OHIO HIP  HOP AWARD MODEL OF THE YEAR  JUICEY ADOIR - "I'd like to thank the man upstairs...cuz without him...none of this would be possible....make sure you give thanks to him...the almighty....now....I just have 1 question to ask....WHERE MY BAD BITCHEZ AT?!!!!" XOXO
